"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High!" (Ps. 92:1)

It gives me immense pleasure to look back and cherish with gratitude for the innumerable blessings God has showered upon this St.Pius X Institution for the past years.

"Restore All Things In Christ" - Pope PIUS X

This institution is a unit of The Society of Catechist Sisters of St.Ann, Tarnaka, Hyderabad.

Almighty God has blessed me in the past 40 years to render my services in the educational field having golden memories with the students, teachers, parents, wellwishers and my loving sisters. I am extremely happy to start a Website for the first time for our esteemed Institution, St.Pius X High School, Ramnagar, Hyderabad.

This well established school infact, had a humble beginning in 1959. Ever since its inception, it had a difficult path to travel, with innumerable challenges and struggles in its initial stages. Despite all these hardships, it has plodded on with leaps and bounds, and today it stands high and majestic of its distinctive status. Talented students from the school have excelled not only in academics, but also made a mark in the Literary, Cultural and Sports events. All this has been possible with the dedicated, committed and strenuous efforts of the able management committee, hard working and experienced staff and the whole hearted co-operation of the parents, friends and wellwishers.

In this new era of 21st Century, the term generally describes education i.e. Learner-Centered, Enquiry-based, Technology-rich, Inter-Disciplinary, Collaborative and Personalized. The rate of change in the World is exponential and it is constantly accelerating. The enlightened educators, other leaders and promoters have realized that Education is no longer about what the next trends are going to be and preparing students for those, but it's about preparing students for the unknown the un-predictable. It's about teaching students to become life-long learners so that they build skills to adapt to change. Education is the key to eliminate gender inequality, to reduce poverty, to create a sustainable planet, to prevent needless deaths and illness and fostering peace. Together, we can impart to our children ethical education with basic principles like truthfulness, honesty, charity, hospitality, tolerance, love, kindness and empathy.

It is with great humility that I am the recipient of the Best Headmistress Award from the Government of Telangana, in the year 2016 for the commendable contribution to St.Pius X High School in the field of Education. This is a tribute to the zeal, commitment and selfless services that I have rendered for the progress of the school and its success. With confidence, I am going ahead with a rejuvenated spirit.

St.Pius X High School has the pride of sending out every year students who are formed to face the future with the strength of mind, intellect expanded, capable of taking their productive place as leaders in the global community.

This is the time to give thanks to God for his marvelous deeds accomplished by the selfless services of all the sisters who worked hard for the growth and welfare of the local community.

It's also a time to take stock of the vision of our founder Rev.Fr.Silvio Pasquali left behind by our pioneers and I ask for God's Grace to continue the dream with renewed efforts and zeal.

I feel proud of our Alumni who hold responsible positions in the Educational, Social, Economic and political scenario of the Society. One among the well known personalities is Ms.Vani Rao, the Indian Ambassador to Finland. She visited us for a talk and interaction with the high school students in regards to career guidance in foreign and civil services through a programme called SAMEEP organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

May God Almighty continue to bless the work of all the Students, Staff and the Management. I pray and wish that this fervor may continue for many more years. Assuring you of my prayers and invoking God's special blessings, loving care and the protection of our Blessed Mother, Fathima Matha.

Thank you. God Bless You All.
